the fire brigade came and put it out! there is nothing left of the engine, bonnet frontend.

the wheels and cossie brakes all look fine,

i just cant beleive my luck.

Not sure on technicalitys of "fire" on TPFT policys. sure someone will know if the fire includes fire on the move.

Id be finding out what happened to make it go up in flames then maybe speak to the garage that did work with a solicitor at your side

gutted for you mate.. has it thrown a rod.?

had the same fire thing happen to my saph. i actually started taking photos of mine on fire as i couldn't think of anything else to do before the fire bobbies turned up.

you should get paid out as long as the assessor doesn't pick up on anything (he walked up to mine, lifted the bonnet, said "they all do that", and walked away )

get ready to fight like a bastard on the value though, unless you've got agreed.
i went from full ncb down to 3yrs.

FFS dont talk bollocks..

fire claims pay out if you driving.. there most concerned with possible damage to third parties property, and by the sounds of it the only damage was to riceys own car. this also helps when renewing in the future as they always ask about any third party damage.
