Default Just bought an air rifle AGAIN

before i came offshore i used it for about 30 mins then packed it away in its box again ive not seen it for 2 weeks now lol cost me the best part of 800 quid.
Its an fx cyclone 22 rifle does anyone on here do a bit of shooting and even better still anyone used this model of rifle

They are good guns them.....


i have a theoben rapid 7 air rifle jsut waiting for my firearms to come though then it wont be used when i have my .22 bullet gun........

You just have to have a reason for having one, like join a club or pest control.

I do pest control and gave up with FAC its over-rated, there has never been a situation where 12ftlbs has not been enough power, it all comes down to skill in stalking as long as you can get close enough 12ftlbs is the same as being further away with 20ftlbs or 30ftlbs.

I used to use .25 centrefire and a .22 air-rifle at 28ftlbs. Now im back with my trusty .177 at 11.8ftlbs. Yes i have to get closer to do the same thing, but its a lot less hassle if i fancy changing the silencer or anything else.

With FAC you will need a proper gun safe and keep everything locked away, the land you shoot on has to be suitable and you need specific permision for Fire arms use.

Hope you found that usefull.

I do pest control aswell i think 12ftlbs is a waste of time its only good for rats,rabits at close range.Thats y im going fac 1000ftlbs bullet gun for long range shooting........

what type of .22 you getting, I have a Walther G22. Only use it for target shooting though and I will most probably be getting rid of it as I havn't used it in ages.
