That should be a very good starter bike for him, smaller gearing etc so he wont mash his chainring when he very first learns to drop in n (i know what i mean)

The guy in the shop mentioned something about the smaller gearing but to be honest it went totally over my head lol. That's really kind of you to offer to teach him the basics, if we are ever down your way I'll definitely take you up on it thank you

I was at the RadBMX christmas bash last night.. rubbing shoulders with some serious legends from back in the day....80's and early 90's... and a few current pro's
A guy called Dennis wingham (who must be late 30's) did a front flip 180 over the jump box..... the little kids couldn't match that!!!!
They also had a show and shine for the old skool stuff which was like being a kid again.

Claire the track at Hartlepool can be used anytime i go there with radio controlled cars my bike was a haro master wish i still had it would be worth a fortune now !!
