Before you just sell them I dont think youve found out very much?

Rod has said they may cause more lag but for what benefit elsewhere? Maybe they would give you some more power at mid and top end???

What is it you are after?

I dont actually know myself but think youve only heard one small bit of info.

There is about a million threads on here talking about exactly what you want to know already. Maybe have a search around and see what others think. Personally Ive never used them, and I doubt Rod has either as he is probably on some secret ones......actually maybe thats the secret...They are just BD10's

I always assumed the secret spec engine parts were reserved only for people with very deep pockets and no clue

The BD10 cam profile was designed back in the 80's by cosworth as a performance cam for the yb engine on stock pistons and compression and a t3 .48 turbo. They are one of only a couple of cams you can fit to a stock yb.
My advice on your engine is to fit the inlet only at 118 degrees ,leave the stock exhaust cam and set that at 108,and get it mapped to suit

exactly what I had, didnt think it was a problem but then again never drove it with stock cams.

I think it depends on the car (4x4 or 2wd) and the situation you would most likely to use the car for. i.e you prob want response lower down for B road and wouldnt not be that fussed about top end where as a RWD motorway blast would be the opposite
