The BD10 cam profile was designed back in the 80's by cosworth as a performance cam for the yb engine on stock pistons and compression and a t3 .48 turbo.

exactly what I had, didnt think it was a problem but then again never drove it with stock cams.

I think it depends on the car (4x4 or 2wd) and the situation you would most likely to use the car for. i.e you prob want response lower down for B road and wouldnt not be that fussed about top end where as a RWD motorway blast would be the opposite
