Default Omex Question

I have a Pinto 8v running Cozzy steel bottom end and safely revs to 8500 - 9000 rpm

Currently on twin 45 Webers and dizzy

I want to go over to Jenvey TB's 45 x 2 and obviously run management

Do I choose the 600 or 710 ECU ?

I am a noobie to all this new fangled management stuff so any advise would be greatfully received

And have any of The Traders on here got any deals on Omex ?

No idea about those two models of omex, but you should consider other makes as well, as there are many to choose from that will do an excellent job for much less in some cases.

Just as an example of one of many, Dave College of Retroford uses Emerald on tb's, to get 280bhp from a 2 litre, in his escort estate, there has just been some very interesting back to back testing done on different size tb's on duratecs, but I have not been to see what the outcome was, but jesus are they noisy!!
There were three cars there(lotus 7 type ones) the first running perfect on weber alpha fully mapped, but after some hours he changed to emerald although that was more to do with accessability.

I run Omex 600 on my TB'd car.

It's mapped by Steve Greenald a recommend DTA mapper at Track n Road. He does a lot of omex mapping.

Don't really get much time to work on it mate - but just waiting for the head to come back.

Then it can be MOT'd TAX'd and mapped

Hopefully should see 190bhp at least.
