No, but unlike an auto where you have a toquore converter there is still a flywheel and clutch just it does it for you,you can feel it changeing when in D mode. TBH lots of pepole say the SMG is jerky but only if you try and drive it like a auto !

Very nice. One thing that struck me when I first went near one was the size. THe new 5 is a big old car!

Looks great, I'd love one of these and £40k seems like a bargain, but it would worry me that in a year it would only be worth £20k

The wife drives it and she is only a dot, we were worried about the size but on the test drive she said it feels smaller than here EVO and got to say you dont feel the "size" when driving only looking at it if you know what i mean.

£20k in 3 years time is what i would think it is worth. You will always loose money on cars, but remeber you only loose when you sell so enjoy the ownership

It REALLY is

My dad has mastered gluing it to the kerb without kerbing it somehow and yet it still hangs out compared to other cars! In residents bays as well, sometimes it edges outside slightly! The few times I've driven it, compared to my focus, it really is a big wide car to drive!!
