Who has been the greatest live act ever?
The best band or act you've ever seen?
The Stones, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Queen, Pink Floyd, The Who, Bowie, Dylan, Kiss, Nirvana or someone else?
This Day in Music have just started a poll to find out. If you fancy voting for who you think should win go to http://www.thisdayinmusic.com
You can vote for any act, just go to 'other' on the list.

As above i'd say Queen/Freddy Mercury would've been my ultimate choice if i could go back in time and see anyone perform!
The best act i've seen personally are Oasis, i've not seen many live but they were simply class!

best ive seen was oasis at knebworth '96... just 'kin brilliant
one gig very personal to me was oasis at a small local pub in stoke in '93(the wheatsheaf, now a fuckin weatherspoons with no live music)
nobody even knew who they were then, will never forget that gig.
saw jacko at wembley in the 90's, was made to go by my dad to look after my little sister and her mate..... turned out to be one of the best live acts i've ever seen.
Gigs i would have loved to have gone to (born too late) are
Led Zep at maddison square gardens '72.... get the dvd its amazing
and hendrix at the isle of wight festival.... again cracking dvd.
My mates dad was at the festival to see hendrix but cant remember a fucking thing bout the whole weekend

seen load's of big names live, but the best bar none had to be KISS in the late 70's with all four original members and the make up .
massive stage sets too.
seen them three times in total
also met Gene Simmons in 81'
