I went to work and got an emergency dental appointment, so off I went and got told the tooth has an infection and needs to come out

the tops are usually just as simple as any tooth gettin pulled, its the bottoms that are the fuckers and usually need hospital to do it
i got my top left out 2 year back and was fairly easy, but u do get a bit of pain for a couple of days around the jaw and ear area, like a dull earache
just make sure infection is away before it gets pulled or youll be jumping out your seat, dentist shouldnt pull it till infection has cleared anyway

ooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhh
all depends on the dentist and the tooth
i had one removed once and it killed me even with 3 jabs i think the worst bit is the ripping of the gum when my tooth came out it had a big bit of gum on the side and i had a big triangler hole where the gum was but at least the dentist said sorry after i had him against the wall
i call him the butcher now but get good discount
good luck

hhhmm, an infection/absces will loosen the tooth meanin it will be easy to remove, had this on my lower back one, but,it can also mean that the injection to numb the gum isnot as affective as i found on the front with a route cannal, now that was a toe curler.

If the tooth is falling apart, then it may be difficult to get out.

Could go either way mate.

Had mine out years ago. Great to wake up after the general anaesthetic with a pillow full of congealed blood. Not.

I have FOUR back teeth removed, two had broken away to the gum line, and the other two got damaged in the removal of the first two - doh!!

One side had an infection and could have pulled it out myself it was that loose. I did feel like I had been smacked in the mouth for a day or two, but to be honest, although uncomfortable, wasn't two bad.

The worst bit really was the the butcher tore the gumb and had to have stitches on one side, meaning for two days I had to eat chicken roll, push it in and swallow without chewing lol!!!

After the first day though, I could eat and so long as I went careful was fine. That was 12 years ago, dentists are far better now mate.

If it hurts, stop them, simple as that, they will inject you again, if it don't work, stop then and do a course of tablets to clear the infection, after the extraction it is just sore for a few days and in most cases, an abscess will drain away when the tooth comes out.

I go private, don't cost much and you feel more in control of what is going on.

hahah, yep join the club, I have had some BAD times in the past, but fortunately things have moved on and especially going private has made going a painless affair.

Just keep reminding yourself you'll be out in 30 minutes and will be thinking, what was i worrying about.
