Collins have been going for YEARS and have done huge amouts of work on cosworths in that time.

don't think you will have any problems with them if you let them work on your car.

yep the mongoose i had was probably the best quality exhaust i have ever owned or seen and i have seen some exhausts in my time, some costing double if not triple what cpe charge and not better looking quality. in the good old days it was like a battle out of castle, collins, turbosystems and severn valley which company built the fastest cosworths, these companys were pretty close to each other. it would be interesting if they had all been going today in the internet age

speak to them and then speak to Tony and see who compares best.they both have years of experience.if i wasnt skint and tight and been forced to do mine myself i would have no probs whatsoever in taking my car to Tony giving him my keys and asking him to give me a bell when its done !,ok he may be like Doc Brown off back to the future(sorry Tony)but his knowledge on what you really need is second to none imo.

a friend of mine took his escort there about 14 years ago for ice blue conversion , car went great and he even thought as month or so went past it got faster, then it was melt down,,
then bolts that held the anodisded actuator together came slack/stripped so it started bleeding off air from there must of been running way too much boost.
guess that was just unlucky.

to be fair the original post is about collins, not who to use or which tuner is best,i know people who went there bitd too and had no probs.
ford motor company had many many fuck ups due to engines going wrong, you would of expected a company like ford to have had perfect running engines that didn't break in their rally cars but shit happened for ford too,i bet theres sombody in ford who couldn't understand how a new engine paid for out of company and sponsors money fooked up on a rally that could of been won if the engine hadn't gone bandit

One of my friends had his stage 1 conversion done there on his 4x4 sapphire about 10yrs ago, it went really well too, but like you said it started getting faster!
Same thing had happened with the actuator but luckily we sussed it in time. Some threadlock on the bolts sorted it, it ran like a dream for years after, never missed a beat.
