Default amal valve noise?

is it normal for it to click like a relay when car is ticking over?

it should click when you switch igniton on. Never heard my one clciking like a relay, but then i never listened out fo rit in the 1st place mate

Mine did it once, due to a poor ecu connector plug contact I think I traced it to....

will do guys cheers,its just when i had it ticking over at crail i opened the bonnet and it sounded like arcing,traced it to amal valve

my mate in the car said the boost was not reaching the usual 30psi,

would that cause this?

You probably have a fault with the charge air sensor or its wiring !!!

Unplug the sensor and I bet it stops

This would result in a boost drop !

ive had that sensor moved to the front of car and drilled to fit in the cooler im sure as it was picking up heat soak from the sweedish plenum does that make any sense?

Try and unplug the air sensor and see if it stops !

The amal on my car starts clicking like mad at just below 3000rpm at any engine load, its only the fact that its mounted on the bulkhead right behind my head i can hear it!!!!

Is it something to do with when the ecu starts to control the boost? (A1 rallysport chip)

As said duff mapping can do it, or other faults.
It should not click like this especially when just idling.
