lol , everyones cheating at motorsport so Nissan are no different .
They probably had gas and slicks on their GTR and then called it "standard"

He believes the time achieved by Nissan with ex-Formula One driver Toshio Suzuki would only be possible with a semi-slick race-style tyre.

Achleitner says Porsche took a standard GT-R, running on regular road tyres, and ran it around the Nurburgring within two hours of its own cars, on the same day with exactly the same weather conditions.

He says there was no tweaking of any kind and the GT2 and Turbo both ran on regular Porsche road tyres, the Michelin Sport Cup
Apart from the thing about nissan lying, this bit makes for good reading., so theyre comparing the GTR on normla road tyres and the 911s on Cup tyres?

those are the tyres theyre moaning about saying the GTR probably used! lol
put the SAME tyres on the GTR and it'll piss their 7:54!

Yes all these production car ring record times should be recorded on the same tyres as each other at least . On a huge circuit like that the tyres must be worth a massive ammount

I actually drove GT-R couple of days ago and posted a thread over here, I was quite disappointed
