managed to finally get a few pics sorted,i ended up going with ford bahama blue as i couldnt get the bright atlantic blue pearl paint mixed up








heres a pic to give you a rough idea how its going to look

yeh i got a mate to put a dob of some really good superglue we use at work in each corner of the mirror backing while i held them in place

looks ok but not sure,might look a bit better with my wheels and the colour doesnt look as bright in those pics

colours prob wrong and you will have the more correct wheels but you get idear of what can look like with the logo! look to get it done too would just finish off the model mate!

cheers mate got it done at work,had a few coats of paint then also a few coats of laquer,then got baked for about 10mins then left to air dry for a few hours as i didnt want the rear spoiler melting and drooping from the heat in the oven

finally managed to do a few more bits,i took the dash and seats out


i then added 2 extra bars to the rollcage

i then painted it all silver

while i had the silver paint out i painted the headlights,indicators,rear lights and intercooler




i then put the rear lights and front lights in and the grille


how it kinda looks at moment



except its also now got the window rubbers painted and headlight scoop



will try getting a few more bits done over the weekend

Are you making an exact replica? If so, then you could probably use this site (all 3 pages) to get detailed pics of the car all over, inside and out

hi jonesy u mug .. i like this model very much. have u built me a real one yet or do u just work on models in the winter coz u cant handle working on your real motors in the cold.

cheers for that will be a great help,the inside will be quite easy i just need to sort out the fuel cell and rad cover and air intakes,the stickers ive got to draw them up then a friend said he can make some up for me
