booked a holiday there for the 2nd of october as it was cheap, anyone else been there? is it good 4 kids as the 18 month old nephew will be coming, and is there mny good watering holes?

we went last year.was really good 4 kids mate.i would say only downside is the accomodation.its tiny and needs updating.also not much choice wiv the food on offer but its not 2 bad.is worth the money tho.entertainment is good 2.

went there a few weeks ago ,good for kids ,but i wouldent drink on the camp ,me and the wife went up the town ,if you walk out of butlins towards the town carry on walking towards the harbour theres a pub on the left ,good food and some real ales ,also if you go up the town ,past the hairy dog on the left,,go to the top of the town theres a big pub there ,if you go down the side street on the right theres a pub called the queens head again real ales

ive been there,, for a weekend a few years ago, as my ex lived in minehead when she was younger and wanted to see friends! we had a good laugh!

my new girlfriend has two little ones, and she said out of everywhere in the world they have been, they always want to go to minehead, which she does once a year!
