Mike didnt unlock that thread, he was simply so caught up in the moment of typing a long reply from before it was locked, that he didnt realise it was locked until AFTER he had posted in it.

So I dont believe he was abusing any powers personally.

Mods can reply to a locked thread. If he was in the middle of typing outhis reply he wouldnt have known it was locked. Thanks to chip i know that info

I did state in the thread before it was locked, that i didnt want to see any other posts started regarding the issue.

It had been agreed byt other members involved in the thread that this was the best thing all round.
