ive just had another look at it and spotted the reserve not met.... u never know.

This is a Ford Escort RS Cosworth prototype that was built and tested on the Ford Cologne test track that never found its way to the crusher. This vehicle is derived from the earlier model Cosworth but with the latest silver top engine and all the later Cosworth specification. The vehicle had no identity at all. No chassis numbers, no vin plate, no ID plate through the wind screen. This was a prototype test vehicle that would have been scraped after its trials. Only it never went to the crusher. Now you have got it, what do you do with it? 10 years ago you couldnt insure it, you couldnt register it, you couldnt use it on public roads.
