gazcos on PF would be a good bloke to ask regarding F1 history....... he's worked in the industry since the 80's for most of the teams in 1 way or another.

manual gear sticks again would be cool.then we have driver error to throw in properly again.
missing a gear off the start, hitting the gear too early out of a corner,or selecting the wrong one.
it would be great

I haven,t seen next years aero package yet but i can assure you that the rear wings will be very narrow like in the pictures above and there wont be loads of flick ups and winglets etc. The cars will look a lot cleaner

I,m a Composite Technician for Force India F1 mate. Basically i make the structural carbon bits like suspension, crash structures, wings etc. I got into it when a mate of mine worked for Tyrrells back in the 80s. These days its not so easy and you have to kind of work your way up from smaller companies etc.

Maybe you could reminisce with Bullet about the six wheel Tyrell car I discussed the day before he thought he'd try to be clever and show me a picture of a car I have known about all my life !!

J. < note the smiley face which normally denotes things are being said in good humour rather than straight rudeness !!

Imagine if you did propose a manual gear stick. The F1 drivers association (or whatever they call it!) would deem it unsafe... pansies!

I wasn't around at the time, not old enough, but looking back I like the JPS Lotus cars when Senna drove for them...the livery was awesome.

Seriously fella - let it go, the worst thing on the internet is people dragging out the smallest issue, go see the Doc, ask him to remove that stick from up your preverbial and maybe then you can get on and enjoy life a bit more !!
