I wish you all the best but cannot see it happening for various reasons, main one being if you was to damage, sell, break the car their hard work would no longer be advertised.

I can imagine Jacko would do you a good deal for his Logo's all over your car, after all he is in the loop and I'm sure he would like the advertising. He specializes in Ford cars.

sending that? or recieved that?

sending that, the person would have to be a mug.

recieved that? tell em to get to fuck.

there are plenty of much better known cars that would be dying for a respray and would get coverage better than some random track car.

if you was gonna sponsor a car for a respray, youd do it for a car that would get noticed, ie a top time attack or drift car, thats in mags, on tv, and has thousands looking at it at big shows.

there thousands of track and race cars in this country that nobody ever sees, would be mental to sponsor a respray on one of them, its not a charity.

I am writing to you to ask for your aid, Me and a very close friend are in the process of building a track and racing car, to use for track events and car shows.
Sadly we are on a very tight budget and are unable to fund the whole project by ourselves. I am writing to you to ask you if you could re-spray our Ford Fiesta track car, with the inclusion of your company logo and contact details anywhere you want on the car if we paid for the price of the paint.
This in itself would be a very big advertisement opportunity for your company because once the car is finished, It will be taken to shows and track events all over the United Kingdom, this will include the New Brighton rally, which is an event that takes place twice a year along the new brighton promenade.
As I outlined before, we are on a very tight budget and we are hoping to get all the help we can get, which will soon include looking for a financial sponsorship, I know that a full body re-spray would cost around 600 pounds. Which is a very large chunk out of our budget.
So If you could do this, it would be beneficial to you, and to our project. Please do contact me again, even if it is to decline my offer. If you are so kind to accept my offer, please contact me to negotiate a deal.
Thank you very much and i hope to speak to you in the near future.

Yours Sincerely,
Aaron Griffiths.

I have amended the letter which know sounds more professional and corrected a few minor mistakes like a Capital letter on Brighton and so on.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to you to ask for your aid, Me and a very close friend are in the process of building a track and racing car, to use for track events and car shows.
Sadly we are on a very tight budget and are unable to fund the whole project by ourselves. I am writing to you to ask you if you could re-spray our Ford Fiesta track car. For this we would happily include your company logo and contact details anywhere you would like on the car if we paid for the price of the paint.

This in itself would be a very big advertisement opportunity for your company because once the car is finished, It will be taken to shows and track events all over the United Kingdom. This will include the New Brighton rally, which is an event that takes place twice a year along the new Brighton promenade.
As I outlined before, we are on a very tight budget and we are hoping to get all the help we can get, which will soon include looking for a financial sponsorship, I know that a full body re-spray would cost around 600 pounds. This is a very large percentage of our budget and with some sponsorship could be made possible.

So if you could do this, it would be beneficial to you, and to our project. Please do contact me again, even if it is to decline my offer. If you are so kind to accept my offer, please contact me to negotiate a deal.

Thank you very much and I hope to hear from you in the very near future.

i think you've more chance of getting a blowjob off trevor macdonald than a free respray
why not do it yourself its not rocket science? and also if its a track car does it matter what the paint is like?

do it in cellulose... slap as much on as possible then sand it back untill its smooth, a poorly trained jar of crunchy sunpat peanut butter could do it with a bit of patience and lots of time spent sanding

It's a trained skill if you want it to look good. Not anyone can respray a car and it looks correct.

We blasted the paint on my nova in 6 hours or so from start to finnish including prep, from the time we first picked up the DA to when we walked out and shut the door behind us, pikey paint, terrible conditions in a corner of a dusty factory.
Its not show class or anything, but perfectly adequete for a trackday car.

So I agree with stav, easily enough to get an ok result.

And this is it with a few stickers whacked on it:

That's a matter of opinion. I have had my cars resprayed in the past which others thought looked amazing and I rejected it and had it done again and again and again. They got it right in the end.

even the bosses of a VERY big uk paint distributor to the trade said to me the other day, much to my suprise, that after 1 day professional training, almost everyone they came accross can do a half decent job after that (they train car sprayers too, proper long courses, not 1 day, lol)

and they the ones who would be most likely to say the opposite (well, in plublic... )

Nowt wrong with the idea.

I do believe if I remember correctly Big Nige wrote to Michelin about having his old Escos livered in the Michelin Pilot colours.

Again if I am correct he said they could use it for Promotional work etc if they wanted to.

I believe they offered him £1500.00 but he didn't take them up in the end for various reasons.

A Charity I help to run needed a lot of money towards wiring in their equipment to the new hospital ward. A few letters later and we had heard nothing back. The next thing we know a lorry turned up with ALL the cables, wiring and so on needed to complete the job. I do believe we received over 5k of equipment for free.

trust me mate, due to my job i deal with this every day.

unless his car is properly awesome and REALLY gonna be seen, they will be MUGS to do anything.

either that or he gonna be a lying cunt to em.

with all the time attack and drift cars around, that get on tv and in all the mags, why would sponsor some random fiesta or whatever that will barely get seen?

by no means am i a charity, but i think with a little perseverance I could get this, but by no means would i try to undermine or emulate a charity to benefit myself, i mean, i didnt start this thread to be criticized over what i'm doing, if you believe that it's not gonna happen, just say so, theres no need to insult my fiesta, its good good good man
