I have amended the letter which know sounds more professional and corrected a few minor mistakes like a Capital letter on Brighton and so on.
Dear Sir,
I am writing to you to ask for your aid, Me and a very close friend are in the process of building a track and racing car, to use for track events and car shows.
Sadly we are on a very tight budget and are unable to fund the whole project by ourselves. I am writing to you to ask you if you could re-spray our Ford Fiesta track car. For this we would happily include your company logo and contact details anywhere you would like on the car if we paid for the price of the paint.
This in itself would be a very big advertisement opportunity for your company because once the car is finished, It will be taken to shows and track events all over the United Kingdom. This will include the New Brighton rally, which is an event that takes place twice a year along the new Brighton promenade.
As I outlined before, we are on a very tight budget and we are hoping to get all the help we can get, which will soon include looking for a financial sponsorship, I know that a full body re-spray would cost around 600 pounds. This is a very large percentage of our budget and with some sponsorship could be made possible.
So if you could do this, it would be beneficial to you, and to our project. Please do contact me again, even if it is to decline my offer. If you are so kind to accept my offer, please contact me to negotiate a deal.
