120 hours at 40 quid a hour is ?

and weres the 120 hours in it too, seriously what did they do to it as there wasnt any welding needed was there, just prep work on the car, the car was already stripped and they never put it back together,,, so was they including lunch breaks or the time it was just sitting in the garage ??

thats 3 weeks solid work on the car just to change its colour, 9 till 5 for 3 weeks id expect alot more than blue paint and a replica " cars " bumper

Oh dear young man,

Its not going well is it ?? this new life/experiment of fame and wonderment, although I guess in some parts of the world "keeping it in the family" IS a kind of experiment !! Im sure you'd fit right in in some parts of the Deep South !! Is your name Fritzel by any chance ??

Anyways, more as a guide,

We are currently doing a full House of Kolor candy apple job on a Corvette that will cost around Ł8-9000 once all the prep, paint and little bits are included such as colour coding wheels etc and please bear in mind that you never get to charge for all the hours spent, eg 20+ on the modded bonnet alone !! We would charge around a grand to fabricate and paint a decent weld in rollcage for a Fiesta.

But not one belongiong to a 15 y/o for free though

J.

your still young. disillusionment and discouragement doesnt set in until your twenties when you start to realise the world owes you nothing and no one really cares.

At 15 i was on my 3rd car - all beit minis all 3 were bought by me and paid for by me - ive learnt how to weld and paint to a very good level just by practising , theres alot more pride in doing and learning to do something yourself -

and anyways even if we wernt in the middle of a recession who in there right mind would throw money away like that - if you find someone , post their address up so we can all sponge off him

he doesnt want to work himself or learn. he thinks he can convince companies to build his car for him for free without him getting his hands dirty.
but as said , if you are successful with anyone that isnt friends or family let us all know as ive got a few ideas for mine that i diont want to pay for.

wtf, I'm not going to paint a car for the simple fact that it's only half mine and not all mine to mess up, secondly, how the fuck am i supposed to remap my own engine? and thirdly. the roll cage was an offer, and for the fourth point... I will be doing all prep work, filler, installation and putting together by myself.

There is only one way to show us you are serious, get the free respray, post the pics and prove everyone wrong.
But there is one catch to that, you have to get off your arse and do some of it yourself, or it will NEVER happen.

no, the first thing is to actually start the work to prove your serious and take photos at various stages to prove to possible 'sponsors' that you arent just a dreamer.

How long have you had the car in question?
Most people that were eager to do it would of already atleast stripped the interior and be getting on with the sanding.
Get the car prepped and then try your luck, atleast it shows you are somewhat serious!
Get a thread started in the projects section with plenty of pics and regular updates, and then people might start to take you seriously on here

I does'nt cost anything to strip the interior does it?
Plus, you can ebay the bits you remove and generate some cash towards other bits

Read my edit lol, Im sure you could stack them in the corner of your bedroom as a last resort?
You seem to give a negative answer to everything that involves actually doing something!
I really do sense that you have no get up and go from your replies...
