Default Cometic Gaskets

They all OK now or what? There was Tiffanys horror story, dunno about any others.

Was that an isolated incident and they as good as they ever was or what?

How much are they anyhow? Seen how cheap they are from the 'States?

But yeah they are based in the states so u might be able to get one cheaper from them direct, if they sell to the public.

Well they do RB26 (ie GTR) Cometic gaskets in the States for 100quid, and thats a 6cyl gasket, so wonder how cheap they sell YB ones?

That was a crap dig at me because Phil thinks that Karl fitted my Cometic gasket wrong

BUT

Both PJ and Cometic themselves have said that the gasket itself was faulty.

My Dad ran a Cometic when the engine was first built. He now runs a WRC gasket since the Cometic started to leak at 34psi of boost...

i use to use the pukka quad layer one on my car.....but i couldn't afford the new quad one at the time so i bought a cometics and tyred it.....it hasnot or never ever let me down ....been on the car 2.5yrs no probs ......i did buy the thickest one out of the 2 tho (for the cossie)

I rate them 1/2 the price of the pukka quad one
