Default new track toy (pics) & what tyres?

hi all

bought myself a new track toy, few usual mods, suspension, strut braces, 300mm brakes etc, but need some new front tyres as they're not the correct size, the alloys are 16 x 7.5J has 205/45/16 yokohama a539 on rear but on front it only has 195/40/16 and they are stretched over the alloy

which out of these tyres would you get for fast road/occasional track use

heres some pics of my new motor

I'd ditch the wheels for some 7x15's and get some 195/50/15 R888's.

As far as I know you can't get R888's in 16s?

cheers lads

yeah cant go for R888's for 2 reasons, dont do em in the size and also may be good for track but not good for road use when wet and looking at the usual british weather, its pissing it down all the time

ballin - reckon there stretched for a reason? clearance issues?

I'm sure 300mm discs will go behind 15" comps depending on your caliper? Anyone clarify this?

Shame if you can't mate, it would handle much better! You could always go for 17's and get some 215/40 R888's. The extra grip would make up for the extra diameter I'm sure.

sorry mate, missed that one lol, i'm not too sure how much its lowered by tbh. guessing around a 30mm drop. i bought the car with the suspension already on

rab, dont think they do, and also dont really want R888 as they'd be no good for road use in the wet...... and i'd have to fork out even more money lol
