That was for the actual rim, not the centre part.

If you strip it down why not?

bloody hell.... typed a long message then re-read your post...it's already stripped

I'd guess if you mask it off yourself then about Ł30-40 if you walk in somewhere.

Cheers
Dan

Persnally i have had ths done and would say dont!

Have this wet sprayed and lacquered.

The powdercoating causing issues as when it gets warm it expands contracts and you will have issues with sealing and also with bolts working loose... even if you prep all mating faces.

The other issue is when they blast it, it takes you weeks to remove all the traces of shot...

Just degrease - brake clean - thinners - paint it ..

I couldnt be arsed with stripping down my T5 gearbox, so I jsut ahd the tail peice and bell housing done insted...wish I did the lot now tho

Dont your time and theirs by masking off...for one it's doubtfull that you'v got the required heat proof tape to hand and for two its got to be blasted first anyhows. Find a powder coater that does car parts often....I used one place once that did flag poles and out side furniture and their quality was wank for car bits....talk to them and discuss where you dont want blasting/coating and if possible get to see some of their previous work (say you just wanna see the colour you've chosen on something already done...it gives you the chance to view the quality).
