There's no such thing as a cheap Cossie. I bet that would cost another 3 grand to get it right

If it wasn't anygood you just would'nt have it would you.

What about a (now dont all faint here) 'standard' cossie?

Could you not just buy one, leave it alone and drive it about without it costing you any money, like you would any other car?

I know its a new idea and folk will claim I've totally lost my mind but its got to be an option.

it does make me laugh about people saying cossies arnt reliable tho - a well set up cossie is just as relaible as any other tuned performance car

its when you get muppets tinkering around with them when they have no idea what they are doing

generally a cheap cossie is cheap for a reason - the owner cannot afford to keep up with its maintainance etc.

A cossie is only as reliable as the last person to work on it - if a monkey does the work, expect trouble, if its done by someone who has a clue, then it'll be reliable.

Now having a cossie as an every day car - you have got to be joking surely??

Nah, why not.
Rich folk have M5s and the like as everyday drivers. How bad is the MPG on your average cossie?

Driving every day on british roads, in a rattly old sierra? no thanks.

running costs arent an issue to me, but i'd like to get to where im going with my teeth intact and not feeling like i'd just driven 6000 miles to get there. sure it may be fun, but tbh, there are better choices of every day car.

and yea, people run M5's as every day cars - I will be - but an M5 is far better every day car!

not really. my uncle has one and he only uses it on the weekend as for one it costs to much to fill up with 80quid a week or whatever it is.

Rather that than my rattly old Escort. To me a sierra would be incomprehensible luxury.

Then you'll get used to it, get bored and want even more... you cossie owners are all the same.

As the seller of this car i can tell you now the reason its cheap is due to buying another car and want a quick sale, Is there anything wrong with that ? If i had the time i would break the car as have done in the past with 2 other cossies and 2 rs turbo's as we all know its worth more in bits, If anyone is willing to buy the engine and make me a good offer then i will break asap and engine can be heard running 1st and took out and drove not a problem!

Just because something is cheap doesn't mean there is anything wrong, of course all cossies this age have a few faults but thats cossies for you and in this case abit of body work would make it nice again and the dam boot realese has decided to stop working that i found this morning!

The car won't need another 3k spending on it at all and as you can see its still got long mot and tax on it!

Anyone got any issues or offers please feel free to contact me as only glad to help!

Cheers!

Ps. Thanks for the plug saves me buying gold members!

I dont think any one has specifically knocked your car mate, but its just a general rule that cheap cossies do tend to have a few surprises.

Also generally, when buying a cossie, you should be able to afford to buy it twice, just in case.

good luck with your sale , though I think your post may get deleted for non conformity

I know the car and the seller of this one...Can say that it has had a lot of money spent on it in the past...but they do want/need a quick sale hence the price.

Someone is going to get a bargain IMHO.

Edit : Can see the seller has already been on here ALRIGHT MATE

I didn't mean the car for sale needed 3k spending on it. Just that cheap cossies tend to need whatever you paid for them spending on them again

I know a mate that bought one for 4k. And within a few months, he'd spend another 4k due to just about everything needing replaced Someone once said, If you can't afford to buy it twice, you can't afford to buy a cossie
