Default Stupid Question? good diet...

ok im sat at this desk and my belly is hanging over my belt, and i'm thinking "hmm, thats not good"

so, rather than going to the chip shop and getting saveloy and chips what can you reccomend as a healthy lunch?

i'm right next to a shopping center so i can get pretty much anything
this may sound stupid but i dont think ive ever eaten healthily in my life and it's starting to show

jim, you've got less meat on you than kiery kightly

excersise more and eat the same
get off the bus one stop earlier than you normally do if you use the bus
wal to the shops and don't use the m3
visit a zoo or local attraction of a weekend so that you walk about the palce and tire yourself out
climb stairs rather than use the lift
simple things like that will help you get fit

lots of people think that they need to go to the gym and get buff to be fit, but they don't

LOW CARBS
?
Are you suggesting he buys some webers and leaves them on the floor?

Best thing for lunches is make your own.
Cheese and marmite sarnies arent 'health food' but they're a damn site better than takeaways, sausage rolls, pasties, and the shit pre-packed stuff you get in supermarkets.
Stick a yoghurt and some other little bits in to beat the boredom and you're laughing. School-style packed lunches FTW!!

Some great advice there Eat lots of processed crap that has little benefit.

Jim, Eat lots of salad, any fresh meat/fish/chicken etc, stay away from anything processed and you will be fine.

Chicken and bacon salad would be good, and don't worry about Mayo nothing wrong with it.

Everything in moderation, run up stairs, 10 press ups and 10 sit ups in the afternoon and Maybe a short jog (1-2miles) once a week. Not the peak of health and fitness but it keeps me trim. Dead easy too.

over the next week jim, carry on eating what you eat and work out how many calories you are ingesting per meal and the times you are ingesting these calories
then, in some sort of power point presentation type display, work out when you have eaten the most and when you have eaten the least and work out an average calroie per hour chart
the next week start doing some excersises to compliment your new found healthyness and do the same with the calories per hour chart
this will tell you, eventually over the coming weeks, how much you need to eat per day and how much you could possibly eat the ame of to give you extra energy to work off in the shape of running and jumping and sex and stuff

eventually you will be able to eat "heathly" enough to carry on with your activites wihtout feeling tired and washed out

then show us the new imporved jim come ford fair next year with rippling musles and bulging torso

The best thing is to make sure you eat foods with a low glycaemic index.

Mate, if your serious, then do what my misses did, she joined sliming world.

You basically eat normally, but eat different sorts of foods so that your not eating one type.

You can still eat junk food, but have to earn it, ie, if you want a fat curry and beer, you wont be able to have any puddings all week, so you earn enough bad points for that sesh.

My misses lost 3 pounds in the first week, 2 the next, then fell of the wagon, BUT a mate has lost two stone and her old man 5 stone and is now running a class.

No excersice, no mad diet, just planning your meals ahead so you get the right amount of food and the right sort of food.

They both also said they feel much better for it. TBH, when I make pasta swirls things with cooked meats, hard boiled eggs, chopped peppers, beetroute, tomatoes etc I feel loads better than when i have eaten chips etc, must be a slow release of energy.

Just about eating in moderation and a good balanced diet more than eating shite and trying to run it off.
