but saying that, I lent someone else off here money 2 weeks ago and they already have it back for me! but they are PROPER people
Its a NewYork holiday today.... and I kinda forgot... so I am in work doing personal admin!

I never lend money unless its to someone really close like mum/dad etc, who i know 100% will give it back the next day or when they say they will

I assume you have spoken to him on the phone etc befor posting this?
from what I gather, he is struggling to find work at the moment but has a job in the pipeline... so hopefully will be able to get some funds together then??

He asked me for a loan for a few weeks... last DECEMBER... £650
until recently he had paid back £0... despite me asking and asking.
Soooo... I posted publically and got £200 back immediantly.
I've heard rumours that he has been spending money on 'fun' stuff... well if he can afford that. He can pay me fooking first.
Its NOT the money. ITS THE PRINCIPLE.

Do you really expect me to think that he hasn't been out on the piss or getting upto all sorts in the last 9 months?
If he is struggling for money...
I'm not a complete cnut... if I thought someone was genuinely skint and couldn't pay then I'd give em till the end of time...

I know you are a nice guy and all that, but thats a properly silly amount of money to be lending someone unless they had PROPERLY exhausted all other options first, like personally I wouldnt (even if I could) be lending that out to anyone who owns a car anymore expensive than my audi (ie couple of K car but perfectly useable for ferrying a family about in etc)
Id dispute your "not a mug" claims above in fact!

Though tbh, I'd never do it, i'd never ask a mate to borrow money, nor would I ask someone I know off the internet - hell I hate asking family!
You seem a good guy Lee, just a shame that people take advantage of your good nature - and its this that will perhaps change how you are with people now, which would be a shame, but getting your fingers burnt isnt a fun way to spend time.
Westy, im sure Lee has tried to sort it off here, but it seems that the funds are not forth coming, hence a public shaming is sometimes the only option - we are so keen for a public shaming when a company has done someone a wrong, whats the difference with this?

From what I understand Rad is skint at the moment (hence not going out having "Fun"
), so even with this post, I'm sure it would be a struggle to pay some of it back. Not taking any sides hereat all... just a shame its come to this really.
Maybe Radders will reply once he is back frm Ibiza
