altho to be fair even the "ghetto" parts of bromley are tame
mate the difference with islington and brixton is HUGE

i call most things shite, its just my way

i could sell up and move out of london and have a nice house but tbh i like living here ( sort of )

hence we aint sold up,,,,,, though we put it up for sale every 6 months almost

Plus commuting takes time. I currently have a 30-45min commute, any more and I wouldn't see my kids in the morning and at night. As sad as it sounds no money in the world would persuade me to part with that.

not worse to look at though im sure

we was gonna buy a house in luton that was MEGA cheep a few years ago, right on the flight path of the planes ( that wasnt a selling point might i add)

was NICE new built homes,,,,, in cul de sack,,,,,,, and a fucking council housing estate infront of it that was MASSIVE

looking at the home it was nice,,, just walking out the door you see across the road and well,,,, that and the fucking planes

we fucked it off, we could have sold out flat and bought the house and had no morgage after all fees too

sort of regret it but the location was shite,,,,, but thats why it was so cheep

I don't have tramps, I don't even have litter to be honest and for me Leicester city centre is a scum pit and London is slightly better as it has a novelty value

its all about what you want I guess, and yes I do enjoy London for a weekend but I would never ever want to live there!

but I appreciate it isnt for everyone. Alot of my mates think I am mad as they certainly woulnt do it.. but each to there own!

Ah, I see. The thing is, because of where I've lived for the past 10 years I'm incredibly intolerent of other people's noise. I could never live anywhere that didn't give me the same level of piece and quiet. Somerset rocks!

mate worse than being drunk on a train is being drunk on a plane,,,,,,, and sobering up as soon as it lands at 8:30am you get a cab STRAIGHT TO WORK

done that last year, was in the bar getting free drinks till 3am where we caught the cab to the plan and i had to sober up on the plane and come to work

I'm completley the opposite, I have the M25/M4 and A40 close by, and live between Heathrow and RAF Northolt

I think if I moved to somewhere quite, I'd go insane.

what is your point mate?

you dont think a 38 hour week paying 30K driving a bus is correct. You earn the same or a bit more than that doing a job you wont reveal. Stinks of jealusy and sour grapes on your part. Get over it

no my point is i think its a little much for a public service job where you get trained to do the job

IF you never got trained like a lorry driver maybe, but considering what firemen, police and the army get paied no i dont think that the buses should be paied more

FAR from sour grapes, money dont bother me and never has hence i do a job i LIKE and never done it for the wage

driving a bus is just that, its a skill i admit but ANY needs you to know it

how can firemen get paied 23k, police get 25k and bus drivers strike so they get paied 30k for a 38 hour week

Has it ever occured to you that busdrivers have a big responsibility for the people they are driving...??? Why should plane pilots for example get paid so much then? They are doing exactly the same job as a busdriver.

Until you manage to get your brain to function, please keep your fingers away from the keyboad. You're only writing shit!

And in your profile under occupation you're apparently a Ford parts advisor... So Im guessing thats your jobtitle.

Quick Reply: bus drivers what 30k a year ??
