take off feels like a genuine 500bhp 
Don't make any jokes in the customs queues in America the guards have not got a sense of humour at all
and when you get there if you order steak make sure you ASK for the chips and veg or they will bring you a steak on a plate
happened to me twice
and don't go into Mc'ds and ask for a burger they will just repeat it back to you
when you go to the theme parks see how many disabled buggys you see
they use them because they are too lazy to walk around

you'll forget your name when they retina scan, finger print and take your picture.
and don't buy secondhand theme park tickets they won't work as they finger print you everytime you use the card to get in and out.

you're gonna love it, i go myself on Friday morning...can't wait!
The flight is soooo boring though, it really drags...don't be scared though, the take off is actually great fun.
The scariest thing i found was on my first flight, that when the plane reaches a certain height, they back the engines off a bit and it feels like your dropping out of the sky a little, but it's normal and soon you'll be cruising along.
Turbelence is funny, just learn to ignore it, the only time you need worry is when the hostesses panic, and they never do so it'll be fine.
