whats up with the m4 today?
is it still closed at junction 17/18?
i'm waiting for a bod to come back from wales and dont' want to be sat here for hours
but there's nothing on the travel sites to say there's a problem, yet i can see one of the guys struggling to get through bath, he's been there for the past 30 minutes to get from lower bristol road to the london road/A4/A46 roundabout

M4 is a fucking joke, there is a crash near enough every day between 15 to 18, no fucker can drive, I think it's all the inbred Wiltshire freaks who have 5 arms and one leg who cause all the pile-ups 
... Seriously, there are no bad juntions, no confusing lane mergings, I just don't see how people crash there with such regularity .
M6 is shit today as well, big fire at junction 9, smoke covering both sides of the motorway... Fact is out road system is 30 years out of date and can't cope with the volume of traffic of amount of idiot drivers out there

Somebody didnt watch the breaky news today.
Its fucked.
We get the same problem down south with the M3. Theres at least one crash a day from some halfwit for whom three lanes just isn't enough.

i hardly ever seen the m6 not busy specialy round junction 10 to where it meets the m5 !
only time has been on xmas day have i seen it half empty!

thanks for the link and info, but at work nothing i can ligitamatly access lets me view those sites 
hence the post
but it was clsoed this morning as it took 2 hours along the diversionary route
why don't they just build an M4 bypass for those who don't want to go to bath?
