They were pretty good to be honest (compared to these days anyway) I hardly ever used to get pulled in Taunton when i was younger despite driving like a bit of a twat at times 
Wellington was a different matter though. I used to get pulled most weeks when i was 19 and had just bought a cavalier gsi. It was always the same copper though, i think it might of had something to do with the fact that i knocked his sons front teeth out when i was at school and a game of football got a bit heated

Pricey was the funniest one, ALL the traffic coppers knew him, my mum and dad's old nextdoor neighbour was the local traffic sergeant, and pricey came round one day with his old escort cosworth, as he left the copper came out and said to me "was that Jason Price's cosworth" when I said it was, he said "that boy can really drive" rather than going on about how irresponsible he is for doing 140mph down country lanes etc like a copper would these days, lol
