Default iphone help?

Anyone had any problems with there screen not working? Seems like mines has has gave up the ghost. Is there anyway off gettin thge fone numbers out of it via the computer?

Try re-setting it. Hold down the Home and top button for 8 seconds. You never know..!

Just tried that there but still the same. Won't let me unlock the sime with me having a pin code on the phone. Had a look on the net an seems like a few people have had this problem and it was a new fone job

Yeah think all need to go into o2 on my lunch tommorow. You think its best if i try to factory resor it through i tunes or through iLiberty before i take it back? Just incase they send it back an get funny about it being unlocked?

Okay..

He said if you've tried holding the two buttons for 10 seconds and no joy then the next step is plugging it into itunes and hitting restore and if that doesn't work then it's a major fault and it'll need to be returned for it to be swapped for a new one. He also said if it's the screen that's cracked... you're screwed

Too slow at posting lol.

Right I'll give that a bash. Looks like it could be a problem called dead strip going by the net. whare areas of the screen don't work. Cheers for finding out. I'll let u know how I get on with it
