you only need to raise the tunnel by 15mm at the gear lever, and about the same by the transfer case when fitting the r33 gearbox.

See post above, you can't tell the work has been done once the carpet is back in place. The gearbox bolts straight onto the YB after my belhousing has been fitted.

I may be selling my OS G as I am going to try a different gear set..

my car has been cut slightly larger than martins, but will be using the same gearbox,
oh and they dont do a 7 speed FFD sequential it has to be converted to 6 speed to get the compact drum in.

hmmm not sure about that i was told they did but could stand corrected ??!!
i thought they did the 7speed sequential so you could have a better gearing for different things???

a 7 speed FFD has no advantage over a 6 speed FFD for rallying so no need for a 7 speed sequential.

the 6 speed sequential has proved its self as bullet proof as it gets, props in abundance, gears etc off the shelf.

cannot see why you would chose anything other than an FFD gearbox for an escoz rally car mark.

The cost of the sequential, is the only reason, if i was just having a standard 'h' pattern then there would be no contest, but the conversion to sequential from already having the 6 speed i s the price of the box again.
no other reason.
