As title, is it illegal to use your ipod plugged into your headunit whilst driving or haven't they thought of this yet???

imo it doesnt need its own 'law' as its all covered in the driving without due care and attention

Driving without due care and attention i suppose.....

However changing the track on one can't be any different to changing the radio station/banging in a new cd etc.

Can't be otherwise manufacturers wouldn't be advertising their cars as with ipod mp3 connectivity all the time. Although if your holding it up to windscreen not looking where your going they will do you for driving without due care and attention.
