IPOD peeps
Right then i got all my music on my ipod and its is sync'd with my I tunes on my home PC. I thought i could use my IPOD and just play the songs of it through my laptop. But it says i cant without syncing my ipod with my laptops library. I dont want to do that as i will lose all my tunes 
Been told u can get around it but anyone know how?

Yes, there is an Itunes hack. I watched someone do it,. there are lots of step by step instructions on 'da interweb' just have a mooooch mate.

can you not set the laptop NOT TO AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE when ipod is connected ?
Thats how I got around it with my desktop/lappy setup ?

load itunes
select no if asks you to do the library stuff
in itunes ipod shows up on left
right mouse click it select properties
in there select manage my music manually
voila you can now play all the songs on your ipod
you will need to do this on any other pc/laptop you attatch your ipod too
