The TO3/4B is often abreviated to T34 or T35 (as in it sits between a T3 and a T4), so is called a T3.5 or T35... It does NOT refer to the turbine housings, you can get a T35 or a T03/4B or T34 or what-ever you want to call it with what-ever turbine housing you want, it is just then a T03/4B / T34 or T35 with a 0.63, 0.55 or 0.48 a/r housing. It's just how it has been corrupted over the years.

t35 came about from turbo technics calling their t34 a 35 due to favouring the middle of the road .55 exhaust housing

what a load of bollocks, as ever

an EscCos turbo is a T35, as in a big t3, same as a t25 is a big t2.

officially a esccos turbo, as is a rs500 one, is a t3/4 (ie a t4 compressor side and t3 flanged turbine), hense why people often call them t34s.

the ONLY official names would be T35 or T3/4, anything else has just been made up randomly and nobody away from the cosworth scene would have a fucking clue what your on about.

turbos, if going by garrett old style designations go T2, T25, T28, T3, T35, T38, T4, T6, and within T4s and T6s as its such a wide range they called them by the compressor inducer diamters in mm, ie T61, T72, T102, etc etc

mitsubishi based turbos (ie trust T67, T78, T88), do not work by this designation and are smaller than the equivalent garrett based turbos of the same name.

i could carry on, but i wont.
