Imagine having that as you dad/grandfather!
Saw Motorhead perform the other day, just get's louder and louder!!!
I really hope I'll stil be going as strong as he is after all those years!
Compare that to Ozzy...staggering braindamaged freak...

Lemmy is a true conundrum of nature. The sheer ammount of drugs and alcohol that man has consumed and yet he has a medical and physical every year (his insurance insists on it for personal insurance prior to him going on tour, which he does, every year - without fail) and he comes out shining everytime. The man is in a complete full bill of health, despite spending over half his life as a walking chemistry set!
I caught Motorhead late last year, and true to form, the "no frills" Lemmy proudly announced "Good evening London. We are Motorhead, and we play rock n fuckin roll"
Then proceeded to play the LOUDEST gig I have ever been at And I've been a lot of metal gigs, but Motorhead are by far still the LOUDEST band on the planet

Ace Of Spades was my fave song for years when I was little!
Still a tune now actually, and im not into that stuff AT ALL! Just Youtubed it.
I reckon its that massive wart on his face that keeps him alive, gives him magic powers

Reminds me of the old days when Lemmy, so coked up and out of his face on speed, would require the stage hands to make up white tape strips and stick them to the floor - from his dressing room to where he needed to stand on stage - so he could get there He still managed to come out on stage once and address the crowd and launch into the first song all the while with his back to the audience
Good old boy! Definitely one of the guys I would like to hang with the most! Him, just for the stories, Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper (just cos they are probably THE most educated and intellectual creative minds in rock/metal) and Dave Gilmour, just cos he's like the best rock "grandad" of all time
