Default Well..... today of all days..... :(
Went to bed last night at 2AM because i was preparing the cabriolet for fordfair, up at 4.30 set off at 5.30, and then this happened around 8ish.........






You might of saw me stuck on the hard shoulder near Junction 15a
Initially thought it was a bad set of plugs so i got some more, its now looking like a fooked fuel pump. Wont know till i investigate tomorrow. Im gutted. I was looking forward to today for ages......


Thanx to the lad in the red mk6 escort who stopped to see if i was ok whilst i was on the hard shoulder. And a big thanx to the guy who was with the RS1600i on Tour lads who loaned me his sparkplug removal kit. Sorry i missed you, my mate gave me your address to send it back to you....

thats right, i bought the last pack of rs turbo spark plugs in stock. No luck, so i arranged a recovery truck. Got back home and had a little look around to try and sort it. Looks like fuel pump.....

i did see you on the side of the m1 as i missed the junction, thought it may have been you but didnt stop as had no tools etc so knew id be no use as well as having 1/4 throttle so pulling away again wud have been hard lol. hope u sort it

Its ok mate, i was actually going to get a courtesy car to get me the rest of the way to fordfair and back home but the recovery truck arrived empty due to a mix up via the phone conversation ......

wernt you having problems at central day? kept seing you driving up and down with it missing and head under the bonnet etc?

I do love FORDS but today on the way to ford fair i saw about 8 cars at the side of the road with there bonnets up or being pushed out the way.lol

got to remember they're are old cars, and alot of the time people are at the side of the road due to ignoring signs of there being something wrong, missing etc
