Has anyone had a full respray, especially on an Escos? Basically ive got 6-7 grand to get mine resprayed and have the underside protected. Im looking for recommendations on who to carry out the work preferably someone whos done the work on a Cossie.
Im in London but will take it aywhere in the UK.

what type of paint are u going 4 mate a lot of people have gone to water base paint now. there is a garage near me that has done a few of my mates cars and they have come out spot on they were 2 three doors and two saffs,they are on the website,its always good too see some previous work done by the garage in person as pictures dont always tell the truth.the garage specialise in classic car restorations,insurance work and police cars from the area

he is amate of mine, its only a small bodyshop, so needs to make a good name for himself so will always do a good job, and 6-7k will get you the same kinda treatment that he gives collins engineering and quickies motorsport do to their rally cars, so pretty mint lol
proper ford fan too...build some smashing rs's in his time
based in hereford, other end of m4
but very good, and i can put about my thatcham approved highly skilled eye across the work if you want
or give him a call

i can make arches that aint a problem done it lotts of times for cars in the past might be a bit far for you to come but a respray shouldnt cost anywhere near 6k mate no matter who you take it to

why woudlnt it cost anywhere near 6k jacko?
iv just got a quote back for my new project and it was $30,000
but thats 100% perfect..ie no dust under the paint.. and what ever else.

well put it this way for me to strip a car to a shell have it accid dipped and e coated then primed flatted and painted and put back together would be around 8k

that is different mate just that as i know what it takes to do the work and the cost involved i dont beleve in ripping people off i do it cos i like fords not for the money
as for grafix mate air brushing is expensive to have done because its time consuming

i think that is where the majority of cost is coming from tbh. the guy knows what im like and will do it perfectly so will defo take his time, the airbrushing will have to be 100% equal and perfect on both sides and he knows that so thats prop why its so high.
