Since we can't get Facebook, Youtube and a few other websites on our intranet at work, after reading this I pressumed the problem was proxy disabling at head office servers. So I tried the proxify website Simon mentioned - sadly they were already wise to this, and had also banned "proxy avoidance" websites aswell

Hi Maria

its a case of enabling remote access through right clicking "my computer" and going to "remote". make sure there is a username and password on your machine

get the IP address of the machine (as long as you are not behind a router) by going to start/run, type 'cmd' press enter, then type ipconfig and make a note of the IP address.

Then using your computer at work (start/programs/accessories/remote desktop connection) then put your ip address in from the above step, and put ur username and password in.

i phone 100% cant be touched when it comes to internet! plus you get free internet browsing included in your tarrif! i work at carphone warehouse and trust me i phone is best for internet, just not such a good phone tho!
