absolutely LOVED it! hard to compare as i'd never driven a large 4x4. its is absolute class though and has that feel of class about it. i'd rather have a sport over an x5!

Nice, I darn't show this to Sam though as she is 4x4 mad. I've been looking at similar, Disco's, Cayenne's etc.

Trouble is as much as i like the x5 one of the nighbours we know has one and it would seem sooo keeping up with the Jones, although their names Jenkins

Chop,
they may drive well and all that but anyone I know with a either a sport or a vogue have had major problems with them.A guy I know who trades lux cars told me "I hate selling them as you know you are going to have it back in a few weeks".
I was going to buy a Vogue before I looked into them proper.

i think they are well smart too!! what are they again Neil??

i think they are 22's?

thought of the price of tyres scares me!

as its the wifes car i reckon im better off not changing as they're gonna get kerbed i think i was nervous parking the car so i know she's gonna kak it!

also on the 19's it feels pretty firm already without lower profile rubber. does it make much difference neil when you put yours on? is yours a sport? mine is and apparently they have firmer suspension?!

So if it's a 2001 model, does it qualify for the pre-2001 tax rates?

I just put the reg into the DVLA check thing :

http://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/

And this is the result:

The vehicle details for X8 TDS are:
Date of Liability 01 10 2008
Date of First Registration 31 03 2001
Year of Manufacture 2001
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2979CC
CO2 Emissions 310g/Km
Fuel Type Petrol
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Licence Not Due
Vehicle Colour GREY
Vehicle Type Approval M1

The information contained on this page is correct at the time of enquiry. Vehicle Excise Duty Rate for vehicle:

6 Months Rate Ł115.50
12 Months Rate Ł210.00

So that's for you, and to Gordon Brown!
