Default Got myself a new motor at last :) pics inside.

I've been swithering over a new family car for AGES now and was beginning to feel like dickycox everytime i asked about an X5 with similar Q's

Anyways i finally bit the bullet and bought this beauty on tue!

Its a 3.0 litre petrol sport model. Has loads of options, xenons, running boards, load tray, parking sensors blah blah. 2001 Y with only 45k on the clock
FBMWSH including a service which the guy did for the original price of asking!
4 almost new tryes
privacy glass
tow bar(including gay chrome cover )

Overall i LOVE IT!

Now a MASSIVE thanks goes to Carlo for advice but especially the wonderful Maria. She did a check through the BMW system for all records and she also ran me a full hpi check etc! What an absolute star! Thanks again!

I also have the car booked in for an lpg conversion on 4th august. It'll make the fuel costs FAR more easy going!

oh and when driving it feels great knowing you are better than everyone else on the road

cheers
dont mind at all. i'm getting an OMVL system with a 95litre tank fitted for Ł1850! Bargain imo! at 20mpg say it'll take me only 14000 miles to pay itself off.
i phoned Jonnybravo from here who fits another type of kit but their company wanted Ł2350 ish. i'll take the Ł500 less chance thanks!

yeah it feel big mate but i guess its getting used to it that counts. i hired a rangie sport earlier in the year to go to man u as you know. it felt strange but you soon get into it. its great imo!

Take a photo of yourself stood next to it with your thumbs up - and post it to Gordon Brown with the words 'Get Fucked' on the back.

I gotta say though, you're gunna look like some country toff driving that. You'll be a class up on the Range Rover owners.

Really?

Now you mention it, I suppose these new poncy 'Sport' Rangeys are pretty high up the food chain.
Still dont have a BMW badge though and in my mind nothing built by Landrover is ever going to be a 'prestige' car, no matter how many yanks and celebs buy em.. they're still just luxury sheep transport.

Shame they're complete shite. After doing some research on them last year when I fancied one and the grief two of our friends have had with theirs. I wouldn't touch one with a very VERY long barge pole.

Do these X5's come with the optional indicators?

Chopski,

I take it the revison for the BMW wanker test paid off!

Question 1: You are waiting to pull onto the main road from a side street and there is small gap. Do you:

a. Wait for a safer gap to appear
b. Edge out and hope the other car flashes you out
c Fuck em all, Im in a BMW and I will do as I please.

have you driven one, like steerin a boat across stormy waters! looks good but build quality is shocking for the price tag, comfy seats though. X5 is typical BMW, drivers car.

my 3 year old LOVES jeeps. My grandma has an old maverick that dad borrow and takes him in. Every damn jeep on the road is now a maverick. He said "daddy is that your maverick?" when i brought it home. He's now learning "x5"!

Yes i have driven one my little cousin has the supercharged one i have driven loads..i havent said they dont have problems going wrong. but im just going from what i have been in. BMW will always make good solid reliable cars and i love them i was looking at getting one too but i just said i thought the ranges were the next level up..

Lambchop - What did you think of that Range you hired for the footy match??
