And the diff mounts on the beam and re adjust the prop shafts. Its a lot of work, I think I'd rather trim abit off that bolt

if it's the same dimensions as the normal mounts then how does it hit the arb?

no, you dont need to move the diff, just shorten the mounting on the back plate, moving the bolt away from the arb.

The clamps used on the arb are all the same just the bush size is different.
You can use 1/2" block/s to move mounting point rearwards however much you want, would take a couple of hours to make, with drill, file, hacksaw.

This was the time it kept melting the front ARB bushes due to the close proximity of the exhaust .

I did what Tabs suggested to the front to resolve this, so you could easily do the same for the rear .

ARB spacers? Does that not upset the balance of the car?

it changes the fixed distance on the arb so that the angle the arb goes through the tca's by a few degrees which will have no effect in real terms other than the need to use longer bolts to clamp it up

Rich,
As you can see from the posts, the Ford tolerances are pretty hit and miss, as some cars have no issues what-so-ever and others do (same cars). The simple cure is to just remove some material from the back of the bolt or change it for a slimmer item. It's not rocket science .

Because of all the ones I have supplied, I only know of three people that have had issues, and two of them had no problem modifiying the bolt .

i agree not rocket science, but the escos roll bar is thicker is it not which means i will be left with what? No bolt head or a half hole in the roll bar to allow the head of the bolt to sit in
