Default focus wont start

it run out of fuel so i got some more it turn but wont start i got it running but was poo i guess the crap from tank but now it wont start have checked fuel lines and it got fuel there

probably low fuel pressure from running it dry need to find someone to check fuel pressure first id say

if i take the fuel pipes of reg i can see the fuel coming thorgh

doesnt really matter tbh you may not have enough pressure, youve got to think all thats happened since it was running is it running out of fuel so all it can be really is pressure

well if you can get to the top of the pump with fuel pressure tester you can prove that its the pump and not filter etc my moneys on the pump tho done quite a few

if i turn the key on igh on to number two u can hear the fuel but i cant hear the pump so is the pump dead

if the fuels comeing out of the pipe it must be running. just need to check pressure, its only a 2 min job literally!

no you dont need to take tank out to check pressure you can do it at the fuel rail connection, a cheap fuel pressure tester can be £100 and a full proper kit £400+! you just need to get it to a garage and pay someone to check it its only a case of unclipping the feed pipe and putting tester in situ

when i turn the ing on fuel is coming up pipe but nothing return so took of reg and the fuel come of rail so im hopping it the reg that fook as cant be pump well i hope not

??that says it all really, theres not enough pressure thats why theres nothing comeing out of the return. is there no one close to georgie1 that can lend a hand?

its not process of ilimination at all dont mean to sound funny all these parts can be tested dont waste money unless you know what it is! ubless you have second hand parts but im very very confident it wont be the reg!

got it to start today but kept stalling check fuel pump amp reading and was a bit high so could it be the fuel filter that got all shit in it so causing the pressure to be down or is it the pump
