been offered a new engine to put in my mk4 cabby and just wondered what you all thought to this spec and what sort of power could be had out of it

also it seems very cheap to me.

its a efi cvh (fezzy turbo lump)

The engine had a full rebuild 2000 miles ago over sized pistons 0.5 and new bearings oil & water pumps new cam kit and all gaskets + new T4 turbo
3.1 actuater

ive asked for more details on this i.e head work ect. also asked for proof of rebuild and new parts (paper work for it) and who it was built by.

it also comes with full wiring loom and ecu everything to get it going all for the sum of ......

Guessing its one of those cheapy T4s from Ebay, my mate had one on his CVH. Came on boost nice and early

Does sound good for the money, cant really go wrong for £600.

ECU and loom is worth £150! (assuming it's Fiesta Turbo)

 

i thought something fishy was going on. i just asked him a million questions about it and in a matter of 2mins he says its now sold .

why do people have to go over the top on things to try and rip you off

no one would weigh out that cash without checking it was what he says it was

oh well no big deal ive already got a engine only was interested coz it was cheap . seems not genuine lol

Would dependd on what kind of "T4" it is.

it was through a add on ebay the bloke was breaking up a efi turbo escort and i asked about ecu and map sensor as that what i need to finish mine off and he comes back with this email :

im not very clued up on t4's so dont really know what im looking for on one of them and dont know what diff they are to t3.

ive never got a rs in to break that had a t4 on it lol

I wouldnt even say it was a T3, the compressor looks big, Probably a truck turbo LOL

Edit : Its got a spacer between the turbo / manifold, so that shows the comp is to big.....
