I think I need to tow it over my old's.
Im worried about not getting it out in time and not being able to push it back in the garage.
Everything is out the way up top as far as i can see, its just underneath I need to give some attention.
Its a bit annoying as I reached my targets at work and had a nice lump sum bonus. I actually have the money to do the rebuild, perhaps even look at some upgrades.

I went to local cash and carry yesterday and in drums it was nearly Ł1 a litre but in plastic bottles it worked out 86p a litre, so we bought 60 litres.....

well the first tank full went well did not seem to have a worse mpg so i've strenghened the mix 35/65 % in favor of deisel only thing i noticed was it wasa bit of a bitch to start when cold but then it was never that good at starting so i've replaced the glow plugs.

the ecu screw wont adjust idle for a good reason.....its not the idle screw

I don't think it works as the high pressure dosn't like the extra thickness of the oil

Not advised on newer diesels.

I've run my Escort TD on 50/50 mix until one morning it didn't start (wife, 3 kids and a boot full of camping gear as well!!!)

I pumped it through, let the glow plugs heat up a few times and it started, limped to the petrol station then put in a fiver of PETROL. It worked a treat on a 400 mile round trip holiday with no loss in MPG.

I've since used 15lts of oil to 2.5ltrs of petrol and that was ok. Very rough in the mornings but after a couple of miles it was fine, maybe even quieter than normal. I did notice a little hesitation around 2000rpm when accelerating, may of been the pump struggling. I've switched back to diesel for the time being and it seems fine again.

I think I'll be using it again soon with these fuel prices, may even offset the price of a new fuel pump.
