Default F.A.O any electronics peeps

my car alarm at the mo has 1 led on it, the new dash i am gonna be puttin in has 2 already in it

questions.............. how much voltage does a led use ie if 2 are wired ip from the one set of wire comin from the alarm will it pick up a voltage drop ?

what would happen if i wired the 2 wires up the wrong way round on the led would it burn it out etc ?

and i presume connecting the led's to the alarm wire is just a case of soldering them on ?

hope you can help..........matt

Mate, the voltage drop by using two LEDs will be fuck all and wont cause you any problems.

The only thing youll have to do is wire them up together (series or parralel) by remember as they are diodes, they will noly work if the polarity is the correct way round, so if they dont light up, turn them round

Hope this helps.

Cant see a problem with it mate.LED's take hardly any current at all.If you wire them the wrong way round it simply wont work.
