Default 6° Rear Beams....Pics and info

Anyone got pics of a fully adjustable 6° rear cosworth beam? Just gauging whats adjustable and how it all goes together. Can someone explain where the 6° and 9° terms come from (I guess its the angle of the arm rotation).

Any pics appreciated.

Cheers
Dan

Yeah I get you, but not looking to buy one just yet so a bit rude to ring up expecting a full explanation on how they are deigned and work... after all time is money to them as they're both businessmen.

So anyone got any info on this?

I believe it is the angle of the arms coming off the beam, or something similar, I believe std was 18° or 22°

What do you want to know?

The camber is adjustable by the inner rose joints, and toe is adjustable via outer arms rosejointed or slots in the beam

heard horror stories about zoo beams not being 6 degrees and not adjustable enough to sort out.

James90 Ahh so thats the reasoning behind the inner rose joints being vertical then.

I'm half thinking about making one myself out of a spare beam I have....hmmm

Cheers

just viewed your beam James, must say it looks spot on! How much was it? where from?

You got me thinking now, I could make that & make it adjustable for camber too with a style of adjuster found on things like Adj TCAs and compression struts.

Hmmmm.....might give it a bash!

It is already adjustable for camber that one mate, just not toe (outer needs to also be rose jointed or some do them with slots in the beam.)

Will PM you

there is soooo much work gone into these it looks quite a simple design but you have to make a jig for it to be done proper
also to buy the rose joints will be an arm an a leg as ur only buyin 2 !
its probably easier and not much more expensive to buy one !

here is my attempt at explaining, basicly the angle refers to the angle i have tried to draw in my paint pic, the left side shows an 18 degree beam and the right side shows a modded 6 degree which has the inner wishbone pickup moved.
