Default De-cat

How hard is it to remove just the de-cat pipe & put back on the o/e for mot?

not hard, just stick on ramps, unbolt and remove the decat pipe and replace with the new cat. Mot it and reverse the procedure......

will the o/e pipe fit on the mongoose?

I couldnt comment on that one mate, the only advice i could give you is stick the car on some axle stands, crawl under the car with your new cat and offer it up to the decat pipe....


It should do tho, it depends if your exhaust is from cat back or from downpipe including cat.....

When i bought my FRS 2 years ago it came fitted (from the previous owner) with a full cat back Mongoose system but still had the standard cat fitted - both should fit together fine
