Default Rs Focus actuator

I brought a forge actuator for my rs is it worth fitting it as the only thing ive done so far is a full mongoose stainless with decat & k&n panel filter?

stnd ford one goes weak ie u lose boost, fitted 1 to mates car to up boost after fitting chip/manifold etc holds 1.3bar now .his has blue spring.so depends if yours stnd spring should help stop boost drop off

If it's not 'chipped' then no, you shouldn't fit one.

I'd speak to them about that, most likely their remaps are designed for the standard actuator - if you put something on with a stiffer spring, then it may confuse the boost control strategy in the ECU and you may have problems.

Have a look in the Focus RS section on the RSOC forum for posts on the forge actuator & relevent setup - http://bbs.rsownersclub.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=134

Quite a few people there have had them fitted at different stages of tune from nearly standard to higher bhp
