Default Engine block advise please

on my block (200) where the powersteering mounts on it, on the passenger side, there is a plate with two screws which covers a hole in the block,

think someone said it was the old pinto fuel pump mount (mechanical)

well what i need to know is

is there a paper gasket there or do i just use some of that blue sealent (sorry forgot the name begins with H though )

also on the driver side, on my 205 blove there was a plug i could remove to mount my breather, but there isn't one on mine???? as i'm not gonna use the knock sensor can i plumb the breather in there????

That plug deffo there on both the 2oo blocks I've had,are you sure it ain't
hiding under the wiring that goes to knock sensor as there is a 'c' clip on the top
of the plug that is holding the wiring that goes to knock sensor

Never noticed that other plate your on about though

As above mate.Use gasket sealant and make sure it a good surface. This is where i had a leak as the bolts worked loose .And the breather hole should be there as mine is plumbed in there.

You sure you got a 200 block as i've never heard of them without the breather bolt. If the knock sensor is there. Is there a clip that the wire off knock sensor clips into as this bolts to it.(i think)
